Cops are looking for a man who waited until his hair was done before robbing a Jamaica salon earlier this month.

According to police, on the afternoon of Jan. 9, a man was getting his hair braided at a salon located at 90-38 161st St.

When his hair was done at 3 p.m., law enforcement sources said, the man displayed the handle of a black handgun to the hairdresser and said “Give me your wallet and don’t call the police.”

The victim told police that, fearing her life, she handed over the wallet. Once the suspect had the wallet, he fled the scene on foot.

Police described the suspect as a 25-year-old white Hispanic male with brown hair, standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery can call the 103rd Precinct Detective Squad at 718-657-8220.
