Cops are searching for two teenage suspects who conducted four robberies in the span of just a few days in Flushing last week.
The details of each incident, which occurred within the confines of the 109th Precinct, are as follows:
- On Wednesday, Jan. 10 at around 3:20 p.m., the two suspects approached a 16-year-old male victim from behind in front of 141-11 Holly Ave., struck him in the head and knocked him to the ground, according to police. The fall caused the victim to drop his phone. One of the perpetrators picked up the phone and both fled westbound on Holly Avenue.
- At around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, the two suspects approached a 19-year-old male victim from behind in the vicinity of Geranium Avenue and Colden Street. The individuals knocked the victim to the ground, punched him in the body and demanded his cellphone. They then took the cellphone and fled eastbound on Geranium Avenue.
- A mere 25 minutes after the prior incident, the suspects approached a 56-year-old male victim from behind at Robinson Street and Poplar Avenue, struck him in the head and knocked him to the ground. The individuals then removed the victim’s wallet, which contained $50 and six credit cards, and fled westbound on Poplar Avenue.
- In the final incident on Jan. 12, the two suspects approached a 52-year-old male victim in the vicinity of Oak Avenue and Colden Street at around 9:10 p.m. The individuals displayed a knife and demanded money, but fled the scene empty handed when police arrived at the scene.
The first suspect is described by police as a black male, between 15 and 18 years old. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a black male, between 15 to 18 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark colored coat, grey hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants and white sneakers.
