By most estimates, one in four people living in Queens is of Asian descent. That makes Lunar New Year — the most important holiday in that part of the world — a big deal here. Like Christmas, it is more of a season than a holiday, The day itself is Feb. 16 but the celebration goes on for two weeks. At least. Meanwhile, the city has announced (again) what it plans to do with Willets Point, the neglected parcel of land next to Citi Field; a tragedy in Forest Park; and a surprise at the “Today” show also make up the The Week in Pictures.
