A man was killed on Tuesday morning in an accident involving a forklift in Jamaica, authorities said.
According to police, at 10:54 a.m. on March 13, officers from the 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was pinned by a forklift at 152-11 89th Ave.
Upon their arrival, they found 34-year-old Edgar Pazmino unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the scene and declared Pazmino dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
