Prom season is approaching. Help a high school senior in need find their dream dress by donating a dress to “Prom Impact 2018.”
The NYPD’s 113th Precinct is hosting Prom Impact 2018, which supplies free prom dresses and men’s formal wear to young people in need.
Prom Impact will be held at the Eddie Byrne PAL Center, located at 116-25 Guy R. Brewer Blvd. on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, high school seniors who can’t afford prom attire from across New York City can come and pick up a free dress, shoes and accessories for their big night.
Donations are currently being accepted at the 113th Precinct, located at 167-02 Baisley Blvd. in Rochdale. For more information, call the precinct’s Community Affairs Unit at 718-712-1627 or the Domestic Violence Unit at 718-712-6073.
