Police need the public’s help in finding a man who groped two teenage girls while riding buses in Queens last month.

Law enforcement sources said the first incident occurred at 1 p.m. on April 20, when the creep boarded a Q113 bus heading southbound on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and sat down next to the 18-year-old female victim.

When the bus stopped to let passengers off at the corner of 147th Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Springfield Gardens, authorities said, he grabbed the young woman’s buttocks.

At 3:30 p.m. that same afternoon, police said, the suspect boarded a Q111 bus at the corner of Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue in Jamaica and struck up a conversation with a 15-year-old girl who boarded with him. He then proceeded to grab the girl’s buttocks.

Fearing for her safety, authorities said, the girl departed the bus at the corner of Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and Mathias Avenue in South Jamaica.

On May 13, police released security camera footage of the suspect boarding a bus. Cops described him as a black man between 40 and 50 years of age with short dreadlocks and a beard, standing between 5 foot 8 inches and 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing glasses, a purple scarf around his neck and head, a three-quarter length tan trench coat, tan slacks and sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit the Crime Stoppers website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
