Masked man shoots victim in the legs and arm on a Jamaica street

Cops are looking for a man in a mask who shot someone in the legs on a Jamaica street.

According to police, at 3:45 p.m. on May 27, a 31-year-old man was walking in front of 106-48 Sutphin Blvd. when he was approached by an unknown man. The man pulled out a firearm and shot both of the victim’s legs and his upper arm.

The suspect then fled the scene on 107th Avenue toward Waltham Avenue in a silver four-door sedan. EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.

The suspect is described by police as a 20-year-old black man standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, a black half mask, a dark multicolored sweatshirt, blue pants with a white strip down the side and light- and dark-colored sneakers.
