Police released video footage on Saturday of the suspects responsible for stabbing a worker at a Jamaica grocery store and assaulting another during a recent dispute.
Law enforcement sources said the trouble began just before 10:40 p.m. on June 22 inside the Jamaica Deli & Grocery located at 198-37 Jamaica Ave., when the two male employees — ages 18 and 23 — got into an argument with an unidentified man. As the dispute escalated, the workers proceeded to push the male out of the store.
Moments later, police said, the ejected man returned to the location with two other unidentified suspects and confronted the employees outside of the location. They then punched and kicked the 18-year-old employee, and one of the trio pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the 23-year-old worker in the head, torso and chest.
Following the beatdown, the three suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 103rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Both victims were taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center and were listed in stable condition.
