Police are looking for a man who swiped a woman’s cellphone while riding the subway in Jackson Heights.
According to police, at 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 15, a 31-year-old woman was riding on a northbound 7 train. When the train was stopped at the 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue subway station, she was approached by an unknown man who snatched her cellphone from her hand.
The suspect then fled the train and ran out of the station toward Broadway.
The suspect is described as a black man who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.
