A man was struck and injured after bullets flew at a Jamaica intersection early on Sunday morning.

Police said the gunfire erupted at about 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 26 in the vicinity of 160th Street and 107th Avenue.

According to law enforcement sources, a 34-year-old man at the location heard the shots ring out and, seconds later, felt pain. He then discovered that he had been shot in the left arm and back.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
