Detectives are looking for three men behind a Ridgewood home invasion who got into a physical struggle with the resident who walked in on them.

According to police, at 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, the victim entered his home on Gates Avenue near Cypress Avenue. When he entered his bedroom, he saw three unidentified men standing inside.

Law enforcement sources said that a struggle ensued between the victim and the suspects, leading one of the suspects to grab the victim by the jacket, pull out a gun and threaten him.

The suspects ultimately left the scene empty-handed and fled to the building’s roof to parts unknown, police said.

Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

On Oct. 24, the 104th Precinct tweeted out an image of one of the suspects. Anyone with information about the case can call the NYPD Detective Borough Queens North at 718-520-9200; all calls are kept confidential.
