Burglar leaves empty-handed after breaking into a Flushing church: cops

Cops are looking for a man who broke into a Flushing house of worship last week and fled without taking anything.

According to police, at 1:22 p.m. on Dec. 17 an unknown man broke into the Evangelical Mission Church Seminary, located on the second floor of 41-42 College Point Blvd., by walking into the building and through an unlocked door leading into the location.

However, authorities said, the suspect ultimately left the scene empty-handed.

The NYPD released images of the suspect on Dec. 23. They described the burglar as a man with facial hair believed to be 25-years-old.
