Police are investigating the death of a Glendale man who was found early on Monday morning unconscious and wounded on a Brooklyn street corner.

According to police, at 5:31 a.m. on Dec. 3, officers from the 75th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious male, who was initially discovered by EMS, at the intersection of Blake Avenue and Van Sinderen Avenue.

Upon their arrival, they found 32-year-old Jared Adams of 67th Street in Glendale unconscious and unresponsive with a head wound.

EMS transported Adams to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Initial reports stated that Adams was found with a gunshot wound to his head. However, police indicated on Dec. 4 that, based on the Medical Examiner’s findings, Adams had not been shot. The exact nature of the head wound remains unknown, and the Medical Examiner is still determining the cause of death.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
