Firefighters extinguished a three-alarm fire that ripped its way through a Corona home on Monday night.
According to the FDNY, a call came in just before 10 p.m. on Jan. 21 regarding a fire at 34-40 100th St. Upon their arrival, they found that the fire was ripping through the second floor of the residence.
Firefighters got the fire under control by 1 a.m. A civilian was rescued from the home and suffered minor injuries.
Two firefighters were also injured from the fire, one with minor injuries and the other with a serious non-life-threatening injury.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the FDNY marshals.
