The NYPD is looking for a group of seven men who allegedly stabbed and stole the shoes off the feet of a teenager in Woodside last month.

On Wednesday, July 15, around 10:35 p.m., a 19-year-old man, using the social media platform Snapchat, had arranged to sell a pair of Yeezy sneakers to a buyer with the username “Kenziedaghost” in front of 48-06 46th St., according to the NYPD.

While waiting to meet the buyer, the 19-year-old was surrounded by a group of seven unidentified men, who began to kick and punch him, police said. One of the assailants stabbed the victim in the back, while others in the group stole $200 in cash from the man and stole the shoes he was wearing on his feet, according to the authorities.

The 19-year-old did not bring the Yeezy sneakers to the meet up, police said.

The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

The seven men fled in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
