Take-5 player purchases $60K winning ticket from Flushing liquor store

A winning lottery ticket worth nearly $60,000 was sold at a Flushing liquor store earlier this week, the New York Lottery announced Thursday.

The Take-5 ticket, worth $59,639, was purchased at Beijing Fine Wine and Liquor, located at 41-29 Main St., and selected for the Sept. 16 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The holder of the winning ticket has up to one year to claim their prize.

In total, Take-5 players in Queens have raked in a combined $183,000 in September, including Thursday’s winnings.

Earlier this week, a winning ticket, worth $29,000 was purchased at a Ridgewood 99 cents store on Monday, Sept.14. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, a Corona deli sold a lottery ticket worth over $30,000.

Earlier in the month, a lottery ticket worth over $63,000 was purchased in College Point and was selected as the winning ticket for the Sept. 3 Take-5 drawing.
