Police search for a man for allegedly fondling a woman at a Queensbridge subway station

Police are looking for a man in connection to a sex abuse incident that happened in Astoria late last month.

On the morning of Friday, July 30, the unidentified man approached a 47-year-old woman on the stairway inside the 21st Street F train subway station near the Queensbridge Houses. He then grabbed her rear end before fleeing the location on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the man that was taken in the vicinity of the subway station.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
