A Staten Island woman was found dead inside a Ridgewood home Saturday, Aug. 21, according to authorities.
Police from the 104th Precinct responded to a 911 call at 1722 Palmetto St. in a row of residential homes below the M subway line and discovered 28-year-old Sindy Maharaj unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma, police said.
EMS responded and pronounced her dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
