A new Long Island City residential development called Gotham Point, which will consist of two towers and 1,132 total units, is on track to be completed in late 2022.
The Gotham Organization and RiseBoro Community Partnership joined together to make a mixed-income development in Hunter’s Point South, with 75% of units priced at affordable rates. The two north and south towers include senior housing, shared amenities, community facilities and retail space.
The 847 rent-stabilized units will be available to a maximum income limit ranging from $25,080 to $137,940 for an individual, and $35,790 to $196,845 for a household of four. Minimum income limits range from $15,806 to $73,166 for an individual, and from $23,692 to $126,686 for a household of four. Senior residences will be available to individuals across income levels from $15,806 to $85,920.
The lease gallery for rent-stabilized residences will open in October at 57-28 Second St. in Long Island City.

The residences will include panoramic city and river views, luxury plank flooring, premium stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, gas range stove tops, dishwashers and expansive ceiling heights.
Additional fees are required for club memberships and select amenities. Among the amenity packages are 24-hour attended lobbies; a rooftop terrace with panoramic city views; resident lounges and sundecks; a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor fitness club; a children’s playroom; and a publicly accessible urban rooftop farm and community boathouse. Residents will have access to dedicated co-working lounges with breakout meeting rooms, private phone rooms and multi-person desks fully equipped with outlets.
The north tower will include small retail spaces and a public parking garage. On the ground floor of the south tower, there will also be retail space.
Ninety-eight homes have been set aside for low-income seniors in an 11-story wing dedicated to independent senior living. The senior living community will feature its own personal lobby space as well as a lounge and laundry room on each floor, library and community room with a shared pantry. There will also be an outdoor terrace with views of the entire Manhattan skyline. RiseBoro will be leading special programming for the senior community.
