Police searching for thief who nabbed cash register after breaking into Maspeth Dunkin’ with a crowbar

Authorities are searching for the man who they believe used a crowbar to break into the drive thru window at a Dunkin’ in Maspeth before stealing a cash register and fleeing the scene on Wednesday, July 13.

Police say the the currently unidentified man used a crowbar to smash the drive thru window of the Dunkin’ located at 61-03 Flushing Ave. within the 104th Precinct around 1 a.m. on July 13. Once inside, the man grabbed the cash register and fled in an unknown direction, according to authorities.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance images early Friday morning that show the man inside the location.
