Port Authority Executive Director Rick Cotton and CEO JFKIAT Roel Huinink were honored as leaders in the aviation field at the SchnepsMedia Power List Gala last night. Rick Cotton is likely to be remembered as the man behind the greatest redevelopment of NY metro airports such as Robert Moses was to the NYS State Parks. Roel Huinink oversees one of the largest passenger terminals in the U.S. which achieved prestigious LEED Platinum status for the technological and greening of his terminal at JFK Airport, Both men are examples of the commitment, passion and service they bring to the airport community, in their own ways exemplifying the highest levels of leadership. Congratulations to these men, and to the other nominees who were supported by their teams, over 400 attendees and a surprise visit by NTC Mayor Adams at the beautiful Terrace on the Park during this fun recognition and networking event.
