The NYPD released a new surveillance video on June 16 that shows two men — who remain at large — posing as landscapers when they broke into a Bayside home in broad daylight back in April.

Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are looking for the two masked men who were carrying landscaping equipment on the afternoon of Thursday, April 27, as they approached a home in the vicinity of 28th Avenue and 216th Street, a block north of Crocheron Park.

The two suspects gained entry to the home by breaking a window, but they came away empty-handed running down 28th Avenue on foot, police said. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The two suspects are described as men with medium complexions and slim builds and are believed to be between 25 and 30 years old.

One suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, blue surgical mask, yellow construction vest, black hooded sweatshirt, dark green pants and black sneakers.

The second suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, blue surgical mask, dark green shirt, dark green pants and black shoes. He carried a rake and walked with a limp in his right leg, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
