NYPD searching for suspects who assaulted, robbed man inside Sutphin Boulevard subway station

The NYPD is searching for suspects in connection with the assault and robbery of a 43-year-old man inside the Sutphin Boulevard MTA F train station in Jamaica on June 16.

Police from the 107th Precinct reported that two suspects approached the victim on the mezzanine level of the station at approximately 3:30 a.m., when they told the man to leave. The two unidentified suspects then attempted to punch and grab him, and a third assailant punched the victim in the face twice before snatching his backpack, which contained money, police said.

All three suspects fled to parts unknown.

The victim did not require medical attention as a result of this incident, police said.
