Police from the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica are still looking for a gunman who opened fire on a residential block in Hollis late last month.

The reckless endangerment incident occurred on the night of Saturday, Oct. 26, across the street from 191-24 Hollis Ave. when the gunman allegedly discharged a firearm at around 8:45 p.m. and fled the location on foot southbound on Hollis Avenue toward 104 Avenue. There were no injuries reported during the shooting, police said Friday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect and described him as having a medium complexion with a slim build. He wore a black vest over a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gold and black sneakers.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.

Through Oct. 27, the 103rd Precinct has reported 17 shooting incidents so far in 2024, seven more than the ten reported at the same point last year, an increase of 70%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
