Valentine’s Day is the perfect occasion to show your love, and what better way to do that than with a delicious dinner right here in Queens?

Neir’s TavernWoodhaven

Take your love through the historic steps of a neighborhood gem renowned for its hospitality and community. The starters include fried calamari served with tartar sauce or marinara, golden beet salad over baby arugula with balsamic dressing and caprese salad with balsamic glaze. The main courses are grilled salmon served with sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes topped with chimichurri sauce, skirt steak with string beans and mashed potatoes covered with chimichurri sauce and shrimp accompanied by white rice, sauteed avocado and Pico de Gallo. For dessert, guests can order Tres Leches cake with strawberries or vanilla ice cream with strawberries drizzled with chocolate syrup. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the prix-fixe menu is $55 per person with a complimentary glass of Prosecco or wine.

Pop’s Cocina and Bar – Woodhaven

A modern Latin Fusion restaurant awaits you and your beloved at the corner of 86th Street and Jamaica Avenue. The appetizers include mini chicken mofonguitos, fried calamari, tostones rellenos and steak bites. The main courses are chicken cordon bleu, grilled pork chops, shrimp
scampi, flank steak and onions, shrimp mofongo and salmon. For dessert, Tres Leches cake and flan. The prix-fixe menu is $50 per person and $60 with a glass of any house wine.

Deja Brew CaféRichmond Hill

Nestled near the corner of 102nd Street and Jamaica Avenue, this elegant café bistro opened in November 2024 and has a decorative ambiance that will make you swoon. “This is our first Valentine’s Day at Deja Brew, so we’re aiming to bring flavorful elevated dishes to the
neighborhood,” Ronald Santos, the chef of Deja Brew Café, shared.

The starters consist of spinach and ricotta arancini sweetly paired with housemade marinara sauce, jumbo lump crab cakes served with housemade tartar sauce and truffle mac and cheese. The entrées are sofrito blackened salmon served with delectable garlic parm mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley, lamb chops paired with homemade tzatziki sauce with salad and baby potatoes and steak with a red pepper chimichurri sauce. Some entrées are garnished with edible orchid pedals, a perfect presentation to set the mood. Fried Oreos, Tres Leches cake and Brownie à la Mode are your options for dessert. The prix-fixe menu is available from 6-9 p.m.

Austin’s Ale HouseKew Gardens

Adjacent to the LIRR Kew Gardens station, this neighborhood staple emits a welcoming atmosphere to your romantic date. The appetizers include a heart-shaped ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese, pecorino romano cheese, mozzarella cheese and butter sauce, half dozen oysters
on a half shell and a clams casino. If your Valentine asks for soup, New England clam chowder is available. The salad is a serene symphony of mixed greens, potatoes, bacon, apples, croutons, crispy prosciutto and citrus vinaigrette.

The entrées are filet mignon with crabmeat and asparagus embellished with béarnaise sauce, French cut chicken breast in a wild mushroom poulette sauce sided with twin lobster tails and drawn butter, prime rib au jus, and lemon thyme seafood risotto with scallops, shrimp and New Zealand mussels covered in lemon butter sauvignon blanc sauce. All entrées are served with vegetable du jour and a choice of potato or rice. For dessert, a strawberry swirl cheesecake to end a lovely evening. This year, Austin’s Ale House is hosting an Anti-Valentine’s Day party for those who revel in their singledom. From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., you have an open bar for $45, shot specials, and food/cocktail specials on the table with music from DJ Ito Base. Join in for a night of festivities

Amid the bustling Queens Boulevard, this BBQ gastropub has an assortment of dishes that will sweep off your partner’s feet. The appetizers include a roster of roasted tomato soup with garlic bread, chargrilled stuffed oysters and a charcuterie board. The main courses are chicken
parmesan with linguine, truffle mac and cheese and spinach stuffed portabella mushrooms and risotto. For dessert, a chocolate lava cake and tiramisu to sweeten your dinner date. Agora Taverna – Forest Hills

Tucked away in the heart of Austin Street, the Mediterranean restaurant serves vibrant Greek cuisines that feel like you’re stepping into the shores of Mykonos with your love. For the first courses, you have a choice of Greek spreads, an assortment of tzatziki, spicy ktipiti and
eggplant, Greek salad, grape leaves stuffed with rice, herbs and mixed field greens, a spinach pie with leeks and feta cheese wrapped in phyllo and avgolemono with a traditional chicken lemon soup.

The main courses are a filet of sole plaki baked in tomato ouzo sauce, salmon, chicken breast, skirt steak marinated in olive oil, rosemary and thyme, shrimp, bronzino and lamb chops. For dessert, a galaktoboureko (milk farina custard), greek yogurt and chocolatina (chocolate lava
