Police have released the image of a woman wanted in connection with a series of thefts at stores across Queens and Staten Island dating back to January. Law enforcement sources said that Rehana Hussain, 43-whose last known residence was on 41st Avenue in Flushing-participated in eight grand larcenies at retailers this year, including incidents at the Century 21 store at 61-35 Junction Blvd. in Rego Park on Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m.; the Shine Beauty Salon at 30-61 Steinway St. in Astoria at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 20; and the Marshalls store at 48-18 Northern Blvd. on the Sunnyside/Long Island City border on Feb. 26 at 6:45 p.m. In most of the incidents, police said, Hussain allegedly removed unattended pocketbooks or wallets from shoppers.
