• New York Hall of Science

• P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center

• Queens Botanical Garden

• Noguchi Museum (temporary space)

• Queens Museum of Art

Enjoy more than two dozen costumes worn by award-winning actor Robert DeNiro in great films such as “Casino,” “Raging Bull” and “Goodfellas” at the American Museum of the Moving Image, or attend a family tour of the rain forest, wetlands, and Native American murals and classroom exhibits at the Queens Botanical Garden, including a special seed planting activity for kids. Experience the world of science hands-on at the New York Hall of Science, or get a tailored tour of Louis Armstrong’s jazz legacy at the Louis Armstrong House & Archives. The tours are perfect for both nature and culture lovers.

In all, 59 of New York’s most exciting museums, zoos, gardens, performance halls and historical sites throughout all five of New York City’s boroughs are featuring Insider’s Hour tours.

“Whether you have limited time in the city, are squeezing as much as possible into your trip or are visiting on business or for a convention, Insider’s Hour tours are the perfect way to enjoy New York’s cultural treasures,” said Cristyne L. Nicholas, president & CEO of NYC & Company, the city’s official tourism marketing organization. “There’s never been a better time to spend an insider’s hour at one of our outstanding cultural organizations.”

“Just as we serve as gatekeepers welcoming different people to the city, these tours introduce the rich heritage and culture of the different New York City boroughs to the world,” said Carter Etherington, manager of Marketing Communications for Delta Airlines in New York. “Delta Air Lines is dedicated to New York and thrilled to be a sponsor of the Insider’s Hour. There are so many ways to say, ‘We Love NY’ – what better way than through cultural enrichment!”

Insider’s Hour is free with the regular price of admission. Entrance fees, programs, days and times vary. Please contact individual organizations for full details.
