Karen Hepp to MC Top 10

At this year’s Top 10 Women in Business Networking event, among stellar honorees such as Mayor Michael Bloomberg and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Fox 5 weekend news anchor Karen Hepp will be mistress of ceremonies.
“It’s an honor for me to be around women who are making a difference in their community, who are blazing the way for others and setting positive examples,” Hepp told The Queens Courier. “It’s important to recognize women’s achievements and honor notable accomplishments.”
Asked why her attendance at the event is significant to her, Hepp said, “It’s important for me to do whatever I can to give back. All of my achievements are possible because I’m standing on the shoulders of other women who paved the way for me.”
The Top 10 Women in Business event will be held this year on March 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Terrace on the Park.
From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., there will be a silent auction, a networking expo, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds of the auction will be donated to the Hospice Care Network.
