Long Island native Richard Bag recently introduced Icon Cleaning to New York residents for the first time.

Bag stresses the importance of air duct cleaning, especially when purchasing a new home.
“Most homes are not new new,” he said. “One of the things people should do in terms of getting the house cleaned before moving in is getting their air ducts cleaned. You don’t know how long ago they were cleaned, what condition they are in…Just changing a filter is not doing the job.”
The company also services Oriental and fine area rugs, which are handled and cleaned with special care at their warehouse. Free pick up and delivery is offered for every type of rug.
In order to ensure that customers are getting the best service possible, all of Icon Cleaning’s technicians go through extensive training where they learn about the equipment, cleaning techniques and customer satisfaction. New technicians will spend their first week or two working alongside veteran technicians.

Cleanings are available Monday through Sunday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Same day service is usually available from Icon’s staff of 30 crews on any given day.
