The Physical Therapy Doctor can treat all your aches and pains.
Specializing in orthopedic and sports injuries; back and neck pain reduction and rehabilitation; pre- and post surgical prep; neurological diseases and syndromes; and more, the facility boasts new state-of-the-art equipment and a licensed massage therapist.
“Physical Therapy is traditionally sought after to decrease pain and/or improve physical ability,” said Dr. Robert Morea, a physical therapist and Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. “However people are better off not waiting until they have an actual problem to seek advice and intervention from a physical therapist.”
And for those patients who may not be able to leave home, physical therapists that work in the center will also make house calls.
Morea and his staff also offer an exercise program for seniors along with a physical enhancement program.
“The advantage of this program is that as an experienced physical therapist and Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, I am able to perform a thorough physical evaluation to determine which joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves are the focal point or source of a person’s problem,” said Morea of the latter.
The Physical Therapy Doctor is located at 13-03 Bell Boulevard.
It is staffed with friendly, experienced physical therapists and physical therapy aides. Patients are always supervised and feel confident that they are performing exercises properly.
The facility is wheelchair accessible and parking is available. Most insurances are accepted.
Office hours are Monday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Wednesday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
