Allstate Insurance Company has recognized Vincent Monte of the Monte Agency in Bayside for “high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitability.”
The Monte Agency, which is affiliated with Allstate, is now in the top five percent of Allstate agencies to reach this level of achievement. It is one of the top of agencies for auto, property, commercial insurance and financial services.
Monte, who began working as a direct employee with Allstate after serving with the Army in Vietnam 38 years ago, said he had “no idea I wanted to be in insurance,” the Long Island University Business Administration Graduate said.
He took to the work immediately however, and in 1995 became an exclusive agent, opening his own agency. “It's an interesting job,” he said, “There's always something different happening.
“I enjoy meeting new people, and insurance offered me that opportunity.” Monte explained that his work throughout the years “has been very rewarding.”
Monte and the two agents who work with him strive daily to offer insurance “that is tailored to [people's] needs and competitively priced.” They also try to “take care of the needs of the community,” he said.
“It means a lot to me to be recognized for the hard work in my agency,” he said of the achievement.
“My agency's commitment is to serve customers and we're pleased that the company has acknowledged our efforts.”
The top officers of the company will honor Monte at a dinner at Allstate's Chairman's Conference that will be held in Rome, Italy from August 6-11. He lives in Garden City with his wife, Colette, and is the proud father of four children, and grandfather of two.
