Woman 100 loves life

Senator John Sabini presented Ivy May Guy of East Elmhurst with a Senate resolution honoring her 100th birthday on Saturday, May 10. Guy, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, migrated to the United States over 30 years ago, and has lived in East Elmhurst ever since. She summed up her life philosophy as, “It’s not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into the giving.”
