Therapy that gets you back on track

People looking to get back in the swing of life this New Year can get ready for it at Reddy-Care Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice in Great Neck.
Located at 475 Northern Boulevard, Reddy-Care has been serving Queens for the past seven years, according to marketing assistant Stephanie Idjadi. She also added that Reddy-Care sees a wide array of patients from young toddlers to geriatric patients.
“We see almost everyone and are glad to help the patients get back on track,” Idjadi said.
Founder and owner Vinod Somareddy said his goal with the family-oriented facility is not only to make people feel more comfortable but also for them to “feel that health care is about family and them.”
In addition to manual (hands-on) therapy that is designed to meet the individual needs of each patient, Idjadi said Reddy-Care also offers other programs such as the free transportation program, spine rehabilitation program and balance program. Reddy-Care offers a comfortable treatment environment and all therapists are licensed and trained on-site, taking additional courses and one-on-one training on new techniques to improve skill level.
“Our therapists here take lots of courses throughout the year and do lots of manual therapy that’s very hands-on and leads to a faster recovery,” added Idjadi.
When asked what sets the business apart from other competitors, Idjadi said Reddy-Care has 30-minute patient visits, while most other practices have 15-minute visits.
The business is also expanding in the next few weeks, according to Somareddy. There will be new equipment, personal training, and a more spacious clinic. The expansion will be complete by late February.
When asked what inspired him to start a health care facility, Somareddy said his desire for better physical therapy services was a main factor.
“I felt like there were not enough good quality physical therapy facilities in the area and that the service needed to be delivered better with more quality to the patients,” he said. “I grew up 10 minutes from the area so I’ve been there a good portion of my life and wanted to help make it better.”
Reddy-Care offers appointments during weekday, evening and Saturday hours and accepts most insurances. If your insurance provider is not accepted, Reddy-Care offers zero to low-interest financing for patients.
Reddy-Care is currently offering a special promotion for a free 30-minute massage for patients who come in for 10 consecutive visits.
