Victorious Weekends for Bwg Cosmos

Thousands of people laced up their walking shoes in order to raise funds to help patients fight breast cancer during the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on Sunday morning

This past weekend the Blau Weiss Gottschee U13A boys’ team took first place in an indooor tournament held in the Soccer Coliseum in Teaneck, N.J. The boys defeated Den of Lions, AG Green Wave, RVSC, and FC Somers Razors in the finals en route to the top. Meanwhile, on Sunday Jan. 15, the Cosmos U12A team took first place at the CJSL Tournament held at Chelsea Piers, winning five straight. Joel Bravo led the team with four goals in the competition.
