Cops’ search in water actually child’s play

COLLEGE POINT — The Breaking News Network reported that NYPD units were called for a water search in College Point Tuesday, but the call turned out to be the work of a mischievous child.

A call went out over the police radio for a search near 9th Avenue and 115th Street in College Point, BNN said, but later the units were called off after officers realized the youngster was just playing with the phone.
