The Windsor School is a college preparatory private secondary school offering grades 6-12.
Founded in 1968, the Windsor School is registered by the New York State Education Department, accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and Authorized by the United States Department of Immigration to accept international students.
The Windsor School follows a rolling admissions policy. Students may transfer from their current school to the Windsor School at any time during the school year.
They offer small classes, a comfortable school environment, individual attention, personal programs and guidance and an excellent college admissions record. They are near 18 bus lines, the subway and the LIRR, and have flexible payment plans.
The Windsor School curriculum is comprehensive and carefully planned to meet the admission requirements for all colleges. Courses of study are updated and revised to meet New York State Regents standards. In addition to major sequences in English, mathematics and social studies, foreign language and science, students have the opportunity to pursue electives in areas of special interest including Advanced Placement courses.
Students participate in inter-scholastic sports as well as intramural athletic activities. Clubs and community service programs are also popular.
The Windsor School is pleased to announce that after 43 years the school has moved to a modern facility, which occupies 30,000-square-feet. The new campus is a state of the art facility which offers WIFI throughout, smart board technology in a climate controlled environment.
