Cops have released the sketch of a man they say allegedly tried to rape a 10-year-old girl in Jamaica Monday.
The suspect approached the child at about 7:15 a.m. around 168th Street and Douglas Avenue, said police. He then pushed her to the ground and attempted to rape her, but fled when a vehicle passed by them.
The girl was not injured in the assault.
Police said the child, who was on her way to school when she was attacked, reported the incident when she arrived to class that day.
