Cops made a grim discovery Monday morning when they found an unidentified man’s lifeless body inside a trash bag near the beach in Far Rockaway.
Police said they arrived at the crime scene just before 10 a.m. after they got a 911 call of a body found on an overgrown stretch of Beach 40th Street between Edgemere Avenue and the shore.
Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene and investigators were searching for clues as they waited for the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
