ASTORIA — Police were hunting for a suspect who allegedly robbed a bank May 27, the NYPD said.
The suspect allegedly entered the HSBC Bank, at 22-15 43rd Ave., and passed a demand note to a teller before fleeing with $4,262, according to the NYPD.
There were no reported injuries and no weapons involved, police said.
The suspect was described by authorities as a 6-foot, 230-pound Hispanic man between 30 and 35 years old with a mustache and a heavy build.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, blue jeans, white sneakers, a blue button-up shirt and dark sunglasses, according to cops.
