Three were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg in separate Queens shootings this weekend capped off by the latest incident in Ridgewood, the NYPD said.
The Police Department said it was called to Merrick Boulevard near 109th Road at 2:08 a.m. Saturday, where a 27-year-old man had been shot in the left leg.
The victim was brought to Jamaica Hospital and expected to survive, according to the NYPD.
Police said the suspected shooter fled in a white, four-door Sedan.
About an hour and 20 minutes later, officers rushed to the corner of 10th Street and 40th Avenue in Queensbridge in Long Island City, where a second 27-year-old had been shot in the right knee, police said.
The NYPD said he was brought to Cornell Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they did not have any information about the assailant.
And officers said they were called to Ridgewood at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, where a 24-year-old woman was shot in her right ankle while walking near the Madison Street and Cypress Avenue.
The victim was brought to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, according to the 104th Precinct.
The precinct said it does not believe the 24-year-old was the intended target, but it is still investigating the shooting.
