MARIE TUSZYNSKI died on Saturday, September 13, at the age of
84. She was the wife of the late Joseph Tuszynski, loving mother of
William Tuszynski and Robert Tuszynski, mother-in-law of Rebecca
Spotts-Tuszynski, cherished grandmother of Hannah and Daniel
Sullivan and Laura and Sokol Tico and great-grandmother of James
and Lawrence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered tomorrow,
Friday, September 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst,
followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

TERESE ROBERTS of Glendale died on Monday, September 8, at
the age of 85. A native of Williamsburg, she was the wife of the late
Bob, devoted mother of Linda and Paul, daughter of the late Mary and
Edward and sister of the late Dolores. She is also survived by
granddaughter Alisa, two nieces, three nephews and was grandma to
her pets Smokey Joe and Cuzzy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
offered on Friday, September 26, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Matthias Church,
Ridgewood, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, under
the direction of funeral director Richard Sorice.

DOLORES RIZZOTTO, former district manager for Queens Community Board 2, died on Friday, September 12, at the age of 70 following a long battle against cancer. She
retired in 2006 after spending 15 years leading the board that covers parts of Long Island City, Maspeth, Sunnyside and Woodside. She is survived by sons Michael and Robert
and grandsons Anthony and Thomas. A wake will be held tonight, Thursday, September 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow, Friday, September 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. at Edward Guida Inc. Funeral Home, 47-20 104th St., Corona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, September 20, at 10:45 a.m. at St. Leo’s
Church, Corona, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing.

VINCENT CARIDI died on Tuesday, September 9, at the age of 93. He was the husband of the late Dorothy R. Caridi, loving father of Regina, Patricia, Valentina, Vincent Jr.
and the late Alicia, cherished grandfather of Jeannine, Andrea, Vincent and the late Jason Luisi and great-grandfather of Matthew Jake, Angelina Marie, Kyle, Rayden, Gabriella,
Tyler and Jacklyn Nicole. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Thursday, September 11, at St. Mary’s
Church, Woodside, followed by interment at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

of Lorraine Soto, Edna Gee, Francisco Torres and Ada McCarthy and dear sister of Luz Maria Sosa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services
