Job fair to take place at JFK Airport on July 31

The Borough Wide Aviation/Community Job Fair EXPO 2015 is scheduled for takeoff on Friday, July 31, at JFK international Airport in the former TWA Terminal.

The job fair, which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will offer job-seekers the chance to explore and apply for a wide variety of careers, specifically careers in aviation and the airport industry. Available positions include security, passenger service, retail and flight attendants.

Attendees must be 18 years or older and are advised to bring identification, plenty of resumes, and to dress professionally.

A second job fair will take place on Friday, October 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at LaGuardia Airport in the Central Terminal Building.

The Borough Wide Aviation/Community Job Fair EXPO 2015 is sponsored by Borough President Melinda Katz and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and is the largest employment activity in Queens.
