By Madina Toure

A man was shot in Jackson Heights by another driver early Saturday morning but was in stable condition, the NYPD said.

At about 12:30 a.m., a 27-year-old man was getting into his 2015 Range Rover in front of 35-30 81st St. when a man in another vehicle wearing a mask pulled up next to him, according to a police spokesman.

The man got out of his car and started shooting, striking the victim four times in the torso and one time in the arm and fled the scene, the spokesman said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and was stable Saturday morning, the spokesman added, noting that the suspect’s motive was not yet known.

No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing, the spokesman said.
