More than 100 firefighters were at the scene of a massive blaze in Forest Hills on Sunday night that consumed a two-story home under construction and damaged surrounding homes, according to authorities.
FDNY received a call for a fire at 68-60 112th St. — which was still being built and was vacant at the time— at about 7:30 p.m. According to fire officials, 33 units and 140 fire personnel were at the scene to battle the three-alarm fire.
The fire was under control by 8:50 p.m. and there were no reported injuries, authorities said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the fire marshal.
