Police looking for suspects in Richmond Hill robbery

RICHMOND HILL—Police were looking for two suspects in connection with a robbery in Richmond Hill.

At 6:21 p.m. Oct. 17, the two men robbed A&J Pharmacy and Surgical Supplies on 131-08 Liberty Ave., police said. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and took the 28-year-old male employee to the back of the store while the second suspect removed property from the store’s shelves, police said. The two suspects then fled on foot southbound on 131st Street. No one was injured, police said.

Police described the first suspect as a black man between 18 and 20 years of age, last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater and black pants.

The second suspect is also described as a black male between 18 and 20 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants.
