This bandit was looking for much more than a fill-up.
The NYPD released on Thursday a security camera image of a driver who robbed a Woodside gas station at gunpoint earlier this week.
According to police, the drive-by bandit pulled his silver Nissan Maxima made between 2004 and 2008 into the Mobil station at Queens Boulevard and 69th Street, where a 62-year-old male attendant was on duty.
Law enforcement sources said the driver — who wore a mask — displayed a firearm at the attendant and demanded cash. The worker provided him with $130 in cash, and the suspect took off in the Maxima westbound along Queens Boulevard.
The incident was reported to the 108th Precinct; the attendant was not injured.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
