Two people face weapons possession charges after police discovered a pair of high-powered assault rifles and more than a thousand rounds of ammunition during a court-ordered raid of a Middle Village home on Saturday evening.

Law enforcement sources said cops visited the home of Naquan Calderon, 23, on 65th Street between Metropolitan and Admiral avenues at 6:26 p.m. on March 25. He was home at the time along with Donna Sanderson, 21, who resides in Manhattan.

Police sources said the search was the result of an ongoing NYPD investigation, although the specifics about the probe were not disclosed.

During their search, authorities said, the officers recovered two assault rifles, both of which had their serial numbers defaced. They also discovered 1,100 bullets and an imitation pistol.

Calderon and Sanderson were taken into custody by the 104th Precinct. They were charged the following day with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a machine gun and defacing a weapon.

They were scheduled to be arraigned on Monday afternoon, March 27, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.
