Police need the public’s help in finding the man who knifed three men during an altercation last month inside a Flushing karaoke club.
One of the victims, a 37-year-old man, was stabbed five times in the back during the rampage that took place at 2:20 a.m. on May 20 inside the Star Karaoke Studio located at 144-16A Northern Blvd, authorities said.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspect — described as an Asian man standing 6 feet tall, weighing between 150 and 180 pounds and having a tattoo on the right side of his back — got into a verbal argument with the three victims inside the club.
The dispute then spilled out to the rear of the building, police said, where the perpetrator pulled out a knife and stabbed the 37-year-old man five times in the back. He would also stab a 36-year-old man in the face, ear and torso and sliced another 36-year-old man in the hand and torso.
Following the violence, authorities noted, the assailant fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 109th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. All three victims were rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Police released on June 1 security camera images of the perpetrator. He was bare-chested but appeared to be carrying a dark-colored shirt.
