Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in East Elmhurst this weekend that left two people critically injured.
According to police, at 3:36 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, a 14-year-old boy entered the 115th Precinct stationhouse and informed police that two people, a 31-year-old male and a 37-year-old female (who sources say is the boy’s mother), were shot outside of 32-13 101st St., while inside of their vehicle.
Following the shooting, police say that the 31-year-old male drove the car to the stationhouse.
EMS responded to the precinct and transported the victims to Elmhurst Hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The male victim suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and torso and the female victim was shot in the arm and back.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
