Flames scorch two Jamaica homes in a raging three-alarm Thanksgiving inferno

Firefighters spent Thanksgiving night working hard to put out a three-alarm fire that engulfed two Jamaica homes.

According to the Fire Department, the blaze ignited at about 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 23 inside the first floor of a two-story home on 108th Avenue near Union Hall Street. The New York Daily News reported that the fire quickly spread to a nearby dwelling.

Numerous FDNY units responded to the scene along with the 103rd Precinct and EMS units. There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

On Twitter, the FDNY indicated that the blaze was brought under control at 8:25 p.m. The cause is under investigation.
